In order to welcome the era of the industrial revolution. 4.0, all sectors of life must prepare themselves to face this era, including the world of education. The rapid development of technology encourages the world of education to continue to operate. For this reason, a team of lecturers in the mathematics department, chaired by Dr. Edwin Musdi, who is also the chairman of LP3M Padang State University, took the initiative to carry out a community partnership program (PKM), the title of a workshop on improving the ability of high school math teachers in making E-Modules in the city of Padang Panjang.

These activities started from September 22 2018 to October 20 2018 at SMAN 2 Padang Panjang. In his speech, the head of the Padang Panjang High School Mathematics MGMP, Delvi Camelia, S.Pd, warmly welcomed this activity because he felt the need to add knowledge, especially in the field of technology.

Delvi assessed that students are very literate with technology, so teachers must increase their knowledge of technology. E-Module is an application of technology in learning which is very important for teachers to master. This activity which is carried out is one of the commitments of the Padang State University to participate in efforts to increase the ability of teachers to face the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. as outlined in the form of PKM. This PKM activity was attended by approximately 20 mathematics teachers who are members of the Mathematics MGMP for SMA Kota Padang Panjang. The resource person for the activity was Bayu Rahmadhani Fajri, M.Ds, an animation design expert owned by Padang State University.
