The Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padang State University (UNP) received accreditation A from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN -PT). These results were obtained after submitting a proposal for re-accreditation in 2018. The proposal for 2018 can only be visited in 2020.

Visitation was carried out by BAN-PT assessors online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitation starts on 23 July 2020 to 24 July 2020. & nbsp ; The latest accreditation results were known by the head of the department on Tuesday (04/08/2020). For this reason, the department leadership would like to thank the faculty and study program form team, visitation team, students, alumni and other stakeholders involved in this accreditation activity. Of course the entire academic community majoring in mathematics, especially the Padang State University mathematics education program, is very grateful for this achievement.

With superior accreditation, the study program is committed to continuously improving the quality and quality of education delivery as well as synergies with alumni and stakeholders in the future.
